our little scare

Our concern became a scare last night. About 4 weeks ago Chelsey hit her head on a wall. It didnt seem to bad just a little red spot. Then it turned into like a small pimple like bumb. I didnt think any thing of her head hittin the wall when i Saw it two weeks ago the bumb got bigger and it was now blue and dar blue in color. All day yesterday she was complaining that it was hurtin. We had to wait till our insurence to kick in to get her seen.So jerry did some research online last night and found a article on a 7 yearold girl who had the same as chelsey. After jerry got done reading it he told me that we would take her in the mornin before he went to work. So this mornin we get up at 6 am and get the girls up to rush off to the hospital. When the doctor came in he just felt the bumb and looked at it and said that she might of broken a blood vessel and that she has hematoma.which is a collection of blood located any place outside a bloodvessel as blood accumulates it is known as a hematoma this collection of blood causes a blue to dark blue coloration of the tissue surrounding it. the doctor said it should heal itself in 2 weeks or so but if not she has to go back in and have it re examend. hear are some pics of what it looks like

kids will be kids

My kids can be crazy at times but you think when you are a mom and one thing happens when they are young that the kids will learn and know better not to do it again . Ok so here is my story of chelsey .When she was 4 she decided to take a pair of sciccors to her hair. we ended up cuttin her hair up to her ears. we scolded her and told her that was a bad thing to do and that was the end of that. well on tuesday night i had to work and left the kids in my husbands care. everything was fine till i came home. i saw Chelseys hair and i totally freaked out. Her bangs were shorter than usaul. I asked my husband what happened to her bangs. My husband was trying to help out and let the girls take their bath bythemselfs. Chelsey took hers and decided to brush her hair. She told me later that night the reason she cut her bangs was because they were in her eyes. That was not true seeing how 4 days prior we got her hair cut. She brushed her hair wrong and hair was gettin in her eyes so she said she cut her bangs again because she tought they were her bangs not her hair from top. so here is a before and after photos

NO AC AT WORK

SO HERE IS THE BIG PROBLEM. WE HAVE BEEN HAVIN 90 + TEMPS OVER THE LAST WEEK AND GOING TO WORK HAS BEEN DREADING. OUR AC WENT OUT LAST WEEK AT WORK AND MAN DID WE FEEL THE HEAT . I CLOSED SATURDAY NIGHT AND WE HAD TO DECK SCRUB THE FRONT LOBBY. IT SUCKED BECAUSE I SWEATED MY REAR OFF DOING IT. IT WAS SO WARM IN THEIR AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT HAD TO DO MANUAL LABOR. MY SHIRT WAS SO WET I LITERARLLY FELT LIKE RINGIN MY SHIRT OUT. OK SO SUNDAY AND MONDAY WERENT ANY BETTER. I DIDNT CLOSE BUT I WORKED A MID SHIFT AND IT WAS STILL WARM WE HAD CUSTOMERS COME IN AND TURN AROUND AND WALK RIGHT BACK OUT BECAUSE OF NO AC. WE WERE TOLD THE AC WAS GETTIN FIXED ON TUESDAY.I WENT TO WORK BUT THE AC GUY STILL HADNT FIXED THE AC AND ONCE AGAIN I HAD TO SCRUB ALL THE BASE BOARDS IN THE FRONT LOBBY AND BATHROOMS IN THE EXTREME HEAT. IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL. WELL TO KEEP THE STORY SHORT I WENT TO WORK ON WENSDAY AND ABOUT 2 HOURS INTO MY SHIFT THE AC GUYS COME IN AND SAID OUR AC WAS FIXED. I TOLD THEM I STILL DIDNT NOTICE THE DIFFRENCE. BUY 9 PM I WAS FEELIN A CHILL SO I KNOW THE AC WAS WORKIN. I WAS SO HAPPY I GOT TO CLOSE DINNING ROOM LAST NIGHT WITHOUT SWEATIN MY REAR OFF. WELL THATS ALL FOR NOW HOPE EVERYONE WILL TRY TO STAY COOL I KNOW I WILL.

OK SO HERE IS THE NEWS THE GIRLS WERE REALLY BORED LAST NITE AFTER OUR WATERBALLOON FIGHT, SO THEY DECIDED TO DO EACH OTHERS HAIR. I HAD TO TAKE SOME PICS OF IT BECAUSE THE HAIR DOS WERE REALLY FUNNY LOOKING. THEY ALWAYS TRY TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING CREATIVE AND NEW TO DO. LAST NIGHT WAS REALLY FUN. I WATCHED THEM AS EACH OF THEM DID THE HAIR DOS. THEY CAME UP WITH THE WACKY HAIR STYLES ALL ON THEIR OWN AND I JUST HAD TO TAKE SOME PICTURES OF IT. THEY ALSO DECIDED WHEN I TOOK THE PICTURES TO MAKE SOME FUNNY FACES TO MAKE IT EVEN MORE INTRESTING. SO ENJOY THE PICTURES AS I DID MADE ME SMILE AND LAUGH.

summer days

SO TODAY IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER WARM ONE. SO TO SAVE MONEY ON GOING TO THE PUBLIC POOL AND GAS MIGHT I ADD I DECIDED TO LET THE GIRLS HAVE A WATER BALLOON FIGHT OUT BACK . I THINK THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH WATER BALLONS. IT HASNT GOTTEN TOO WARM YET BUT WHEN THIS AFTERNOON HITS I WILL LET THEM HAVE THEIR BATTLE. I MIGHT GET IN ON THE ACTION AS WELL. IN OTHER NEWS OUR CAMPING TRIP WENT REALLY WELL LAST WEEKEND WE HAD LOADS OF FUN WE WENT ON A NATURE HIKE AND DID SOME FISHIN AND SAT AROUND THE CAMP FIRE AND MADE SMORES. AND ROASTED MARSHMELLOWS. THE VIEW OF THE SANTIAM RIVER WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND THE SOUNDS OF THE OUTDOORS WERE GREAT HERE ARE SOME OF THE PICS

IT WAS A TIRING WEEK FOR THE BARNETTS BUT WE MADE IT THE BEST WEEK FOR THE KIDDOS. WE LOVE THE GREAT OUTDOORS AND TRY TO DO ALOT OF DIFFRENT THINGS THIS WAS THE FIRST CAMPING TRIP FOR THE GIRLS AND THE DOG AND THEY SEEMED TO ENJOY THEMSELFS ALOT HOPEFULLY WE WILL HAVE MORE BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS. WE HAD A BLAST

my name is tashia and i am married to jerry. we have 2 girls that i adore with all my heart. we just got a dog around christmas time and man does he like to play alot with the girls. my husband works full time and he is home 2 days out of the week. i love to spend quality time with my friends and family when i can. i was rasied in texas but born in california and moved to oregon when i got married. my mom and my brother live in texas and my dad and older brother live in california. i have made and met alot of new friends since i moved up here to oregon i call them friends for life.
